Jennifer Painter is in charge of the lunch program.

Richmond will continue to participate in the Breakfast and National School Lunch Programs. Free breakfast and lunch meals are available for all Richmond students.  Students may continue to bring their own lunch as an option, and are not obligated to eat a school provided lunch everyday.  The Free and Reduced Application will be sent home. Only one application per family is needed.

Please note school lunches are prepared based on the day's attendance reporting.  When reporting attendance at the beginning of the school day, a student must indicate whether he/she is hot lunch or brought their own lunch.

As part of our National School Lunch Program we may provide a sack lunch to students when they participate in a field trip. If you would like the school to provide a sack lunch for your student on a field trip, please notify the school two days prior to the field trip at 257-2338.

Offer vs Serve… Five food items from the following food categories will be provided each day: meat/meat alternative; milk; fruits/vegetables; and grains/breads; Students may decline up to two items.

Menus are available in their classrooms and in the office for those students who would like one. Those students who bring lunches from home should not bring soft or carbonated drinks.

In the operation of the Richmond National School Lunch Program, no child will be discriminated against because of race, sex, color, national origin, age, or handicap.
