National School Lunch Program 15/16

Jennifer Painter is in charge of the lunch program.

Richmond participates in the National School Lunch Program. Free and reduced lunches are available for qualified students. Applications will be given to all students the first week of school and are available in the office at any time.

Individual lunches sell for $2.75 each and individual milks sell for $.30. The reduced price lunch is $.40. Adult lunches are $3.50 each. Students are asked to bring lunch money directly to the office when they arrive at school, prior to the first bell. Charging of student lunches is on a limited basis only.

As part of our National School Lunch Program we will provide a sack lunch to students when they participate in a field trip. If you would like the school to provide a sack lunch for your student on a field trip, please notify the school two days prior to the field trip at 257 - 2338.

Offer vs Serve… Five food items from the following food categories will be provided each day: meat/meat alternative; milk; fruits/vegetables; and grains/breads; Students may decline up to two items.

Menus are available in their classrooms and in the office for those students who would like one. Those students who bring lunches from home should not bring soft or carbonated drinks.

In the operation of the Richmond National School Lunch Program, no child will be discriminated against because of race, sex, color, national origin, age, or handicap.
